Hey, welcome to this week’s Four to Follow, Inside Left’s pick of the fixtures happening across Scotland this week.
I’m new at Inside Left, so I’ll hope you’ll cut me some slack and agree with my choices for this week. I’ve gone for the simple route and chosen a match from each of Scotland’s four professional leagues (SPL, Divisions 1, 2 & 3). And you thought the senior leagues had problems with the fixture backlog the winter-weather chaos brought. Spare a thought for the Highland League who have to slot in 119 fixtures in the nine weeks remaining in the season.
Two games aside, in todays 5th Round Scottish Cup games, the results pretty much went with our expectations. Ross County nearly reach double figures against Stirling Albion to reach the quarter finals. They´ll be joined there by Dundee, Dundee United, Hibernian and Kilmarnock.
