As a former goalkeeper myself I can certainly sympathise with some of the eejits in the first video. Needless to say, none of these ever happened to me, apart perhaps from the ones involving goalkicks that failed to make the 18-yard line or throwing the ball into your own net, two things I’m afraid I’ve been guilty of..

Now, Scottish goalkeepers have had a much maligned history, undeserved I think, but still, there it is. This next video proves that we did at least practice.
