With the heavy defeat dished out by Rangers at Ibrox against Hamilton today, we bring you the biggest SPL scoreline in the last 10 years courtesy of our Meat Pie – a juicy statistic to get your teeth into.
The biggest scorelines we could find included the 9-0 drubbing of Montrose in 2003 (but which failed to make the list as it was a Cup game) and the 11 goal thriller in September 1999 when Aberdeen edged out Motherwell 5-6 at Fir Park (by far the most goals scored in a single game in the SPL over this period).
Do you know of any other high scoring games, particularly in the lower leagues, then let us know by leaving us a comment.
